Prairie Plum Tall Bearded Iris seems to be a lesser known cultivar that I really enjoy in my garden. Its standards are dusty plum heavily infused apricot with a dark plum midrib and narrow fringed apricot border. The falls have an apricot ground, irregular 3/8″ heavily stitched plum border, small purple-dotted white area around a bushy, bright red-orange beard.
I have TB Prairie Plum planted in a mixed flower border with other irises that comlement each other as well as daylilies that bloom after the iris season is over.
