NoID #19 is a pretty, ruffled, pastel lavender tall bearded iris that was gifted to me by a gardening friend. It came to her from her kids garden without any cultivar name.

It has a more modern form with flaring horizontal falls and strongly ruffled petal edges. The arching incurved standards are attractive, too. It would be a perfect iris for a flower gardener who likes its soft feminine hue and doesn’t mind not knowing what iris cultivar it is.

I’m a bit baffled as how to go about researching its ID as there are so many new hybrids introduced every year adding to the thousands that already exist!
