This IB iris has a ruffled, clear medium yellow bloom, white lines alongside the orange beard that ends in a white tip.  The maiden bloomstalk had 3 buds & 1 branch, with 4 increases, so should make a nice clump fairly quickly.

This very early blooming seedling would be best in a climate where the spring temperatures warm up consistently. Here in Prescott AZ where our April weather is very challenging, the  seedling opened its maiden bloom on April 19, 2025 when the weather was still extremely cold. I cut the stalk two days before and brought it inside to keep the bud / bloom from being frozen. Because of this, I do not have photos of the iris blooming in the garden.
